Mission statement:
My purpose here at WAMS is to inspire & teach Art to our students. I want to help them learn how to work better and more cohesively as a team, so they can reach new creative heights. I will teach them the different elements and principles of Design and Art. Students should be able to talk about their artwork using the proper vocabulary to articulately explain their ideas. I believe creativity should have not limits.
Classroom Goals:
1. We will create daily projects of spoken messages & visual representations.
2. Students will learn vocabulary to help represent & explain their knowledge.
3. Students will create Art critique to share his or her ideas & insights with others through
listening and learning.
4. Students must write an artist statement to evaluate his or her own visual representations.
5. Students must constantly research events & Ideas & keep them documented in their
sketchbooks.
6. Students will collaborate to bring together & connect what has been learned in class for one
final project.
